So, what are you going to do whilst you’re self-isolating?

Many people would agree that this is the ideal time to finish off those gardening jobs or DIY projects that you didn’t have the time for. But what about putting time for yourself as well, what about the growing your potential or fixing your habits?

Life is a balance; a balance of external and internal, family and work, the list goes on and on and I’m not going to tell you what is important in your life but in here are some suggestions that might interest you.

Stick to a routine that works for you and your household:

Yes, that means sticking to the same sleep and wake time, getting dressed on time, having meal times together but most importantly having a routine that works for everyone in the household.

Connect to yourself and connect to nature:

Ok, so you have one hour of exercise – use it and enjoy the weather by taking a walk. Its free and a great way to relax and stay physically and mentally healthy.

Fix your habits and fix your house:

Start off small, maybe flossing in the morning, to build a healthy habit and fix those DIY jobs that you were too busy, or distracted, to finish off.

Grow yourself and grow your garden:

Read, read and read; it doesn’t matter what as long as you expand your knowledge and learning. It will bear fruition just as those plants you grow.

Finally, remember the ancient saying that is as true now as it was then – “And this too shall pass”.
